Title: Modeling of the Bauschinger effect and springback in dual-phase steels

Abstract:

In this work, an approach is proposed for the description of the plastic behavior of materials subjected to multiple or continuous strain path changes. In particular, although it is not formulated with a kinematic hardening rule, it provides a reasonable description of the Bauschinger effect when loading is reversed. This description of anisotropic hardening is based on homogeneous yield functions combining a stable, isotropic hardening-type, component and a fluctuating component. The latter captures, in average, the effect of dislocation interactions during strain path changes. For monotonic loading, this approach is identical to isotropic hardening, with an expanding isotropic or anisotropic yield surface around the active stress state. The capability of this constitutive description is illustrated with applications on a number of steel sheet samples. Moreover, using a finite element code with an implementation of this constitutive model, simulations of the U-draw bending of structural element are performed. Predicted results are compared to experimental springback data obtained on a of dual phase steel.

报告人简介:

Barlat教授1984年在法国格勒诺布尔国立理工学院获得力学博士学位,同年加入美铝公司技术中心从事科研工作超过20年。目前,他作为浦项科技大学教授兼钢铁研究院材料力学实验室主任从事先进钢铁加工技术开发。

作为国际材料力学领域的著名学者,1989年与吉林大学连建设共同提出了著名的Barlat-Lian准则。已发表论文250余篇。在著名的力学杂志The International Journal of Plasticity (影响因子4.791)创办25年期间10篇引用率最高的论文中,Barlat教授有三篇论文入选,分列第二(343)、第三(298)和第十位(199)。作为多所大学的邀请教授和名誉教授,以及学术期刊编委。主持NUMIFORM 2010国际会议任主席,并将担任NUMISHEET 2011国际会议副主席。
