Education Background
2006 - 2010 B. S. in Material Physics, Jilin University, China
Apr. 2011 - Physical Chemistry, Dept. of Chem., Nagoya University, Japan
Supervisor: Prof. Hisanori Shinohara and Prof. Ryo Kitaura
Current Research Interests
My current research interests are mainly in the fundamental optical and electronic properties of 1D nanocarbon and 2D transition metal dichalcogenides (TMDCs) materials.
1. Effect of van der Waals interlayer interaction on electronic and optical properties in 1D (CNTs) and 2D (TMDCs-based materials)
2. Many-body effects (mainly excitonic effect) in systems with reduced dimensions
3. Interlayer excitons in TMDCs-based heterostructures: valley optics, valley transport (valley-Hall effect) and electrical/optical control of spin/valley carrier injection
Gate-controlled transport properties in 2D inorganic materials & organic semiconductors: doping-induced phase transitions, superconductivity, etc.
