报告人简介:

Prof. Alexander Kren is a highly qualified scientist specializing in the physics of non-destructive testing of materials and products, with extensive experience in developing devices for testing, monitoring, and evaluating the residual life of materials, products, and industrial equipment. His instruments for controlling critical products have been implemented in various industrial enterprises. He has published over 100 articles in peer-reviewed journals and more than 250 publications in total, including 1 monograph and 25 patents. His honors include the 2016 Diploma of the State Committee on Science and Technology of the Republic of Belarus, the 2018 Grant of the President of the Republic of Belarus, the 2018 Gratitude of the Prime Minister of the Republic of Belarus, and the 2023 Gratitude of the Belarusian Republican Foundation for Fundamental Research.
His scientific interests include contact interaction and fracture mechanics of isotropic and anisotropic structural materials; modeling elastoplastic straining by a rigid indenter; indentation-based monitoring of physical and mechanical properties; magnetic non-destructive testing for stress determination and coating thickness measurement; and the development of modern equipment, metrological bases, and technical standards. He is experienced in X-ray diffraction, hardness testing, visual testing, metallography, and radiation safety, and has participated in numerous projects on concrete, polymers, asphalt concrete, impact toughness, gas-pipeline insulating coatings, cast iron, carbon/graphite rocket-engine materials, and advanced aluminum alloys.
